Good afternoon, campers. Here is the What-Happened-In-Jane's-Week blog.
Read, laugh, cry, hate, die, reborn, cow, grass, milk, burger.

So. This week has been okay, setting itself up for next week which I imagine will go tits up by day one.

Drama was a bit poo this week. As much as I want to enjoy what we are doing, to be honest, there's nothing that we've done that really makes me go - Oh Yeah, That Was Lolz Like. I mean, Lysistrata is funny and Twelfth Night is good and all...but I'm not having a laugh like I did last year. Which is a shame I guess. Anyway I'm 99% sure that next week is also going to be uber-pants due to major lack of organisation and the fact I suck at anything that involves music, movement or in fact, music to movement.
If people want to see a rythmically challenged girl rolling around on the floor at the back of the stage to hippie music, they'd go and see Michelle McManus slip over a turd in a health food store.

English is fabbo, I'm loving it. Dracula is bon and a laugh and basically we've deduced that Drackles only wants Harker as a bumchum and is jealous of the screeching baby munching harpees that try and bonk him in the night. Also, Mina's friend Lucy is a slut. Macbeth is my favourite lesson of the week, no challenge. On Wednesday we watched some bizarre interview with an actress who played a witch and in her play they were all on roller blades. Then we watched 'Macbeth on the Estate' featuring some incredibly unfortunate looking children and Ray Winstone in shorts.

Media seems to be a bit slow getting going this year. It's me and one other guy who do any of the essays set and one of the girls in my class claims to have no idea who Stephen Fry is. I know right? I have some good ideas about my coursework though...I just want to get going with it.

I bought some bangin' new headphones on Wednesday, although they made watching the episode of Buffy with the creepy demon in the hospital at 11 last night a lot more freaky. I finally have the Empire magazine for this month (I am disgusted at myself for not getting it sooner) and it's obviously brillo.

Liz's party on Tuesday!
I have Funky Town by Lipps Inc stuck in my head!

Oh, and thanks to all for the feedback on Trestle: A Journey. It's muchos appreciated. I just got off the phone with the Academy and they say we deffo have a shot at the Oscars next year. So you know, I'd better start writing a speech and picking a posh frock.

  1. That girl in your media class obviously has a very sad life, since she lacks the genius of Stephen Fry.
