If it weren't for You I have no idea what I would have done, seriously. If You don't get it, You don't get it. John Major didn't go to uni, and he was PRIME MINISTER. Granted He's a Tory bastard etc, but still If you don't like the course, you start a new one the next year. But You WILL.
1. You already have an A in AS Media, which puts you in good stead.
2. I can tell you are great at Media, just by the way you talk about it and are enthusiastic about it.
3. The English Course this year is probably far more Jane-friendly than the English course last year. (Macbeth and Dracula vs. Pride and Prejudice,) so you are likely to do well in it.
4. Like Laura said, even if it goes wrong it's not like you won't get another chance. In fact, many other chances.
